I am almost done with the new album, A NEW ME, and i just added another track that i just finished. Its very different, Its called I GOT SWAGGER!!, that sing talk style which is all over the place in USA, so dont get it twisted with rappin :) It will be soon out hopefully by next week, alongside with my Ghana track, ROCK THE NIGHT AWAY, AFRICAN SUN (produced by Aaron and Eric). To this girl, i saw your pics on facebook and even if i didn't, all girls are beautiful and unique in their own way. I feel so blessed that i can be a role model to you, and that u look up to me. Skinny, Plus Size, Short, Tall it don't matter, God created you in a special way. 

In High school sometimes, I used to tie a sweater around my waist cause i honestly thought my butt was big and i reaaaaaally hated it! People would stare at school, some of my girlfriends would be like "damn, i want your butt." I had an auntie that always slapped it, saying how bad she wanted it!! trust me,i wanted to give it away!!!  half. of. it.

But overtime as I got older i realized that i loved my body, and appreciated what I got and had to flaunt it. You can do the same. So you BETTER work it girl!!! who run the world??!! GIRLS!!!!!

I love to travel. But who doesn't? This year has been relatively slow for me. Last summer I visited Sweden, Belgium, Norway, Germany, Denmark.(oh and stopping in Rome on the way to Sweden got me really excited, even though i was seated on the plane, it was awesome knowing that I WAS IN ROME!) This summer I have been on zero vacations. Boo! I did get to go to Ghana in April and South Africa for 2 days in April also (I literally got back from South Africa to Uganda on April 5th and left for Ghana on April 7th) so I can't complain too much.

This summer I picked up a new hobby, reading. Yeah in a few months I turn twentysomething and I am just getting into reading novels. Sad. I blame bad reality TV and my laziness.

 

But once upon a time during summers in Washington, lets say year 2000 it was? I was reading books like all the time, and would finish a book in like 2 days even.The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley, doesn't count right? I thought so. Hey come on, i was like 13, no, wait ya...

Recently, I always start books and if I get bored, don't finish them. Maybe I just read the wrong books? Point is, I've started a new chapter in my life (pun intended ;) and am making an effort to read as many books as I can this summer well not just this summer, but all the time. Any recommendations?!?!

 My New Obsession, The Hit TV Series....THE VAMPIRE DIARIES!!!!!

If you love vampire love stories, you will love this show!! im literally drooling right now. I have a problem.

I present you with the hottest vampire I have ever seen: Damon Salvatore of The Vampire Diaries (played by Ian Somerhalder). I started watching the show when hannah told me about it. I am a big fan of twighlight, so i know i had to watch this show!! Its all about Damon's brother, Stefan, played by Paul Wesley. Don't get me wrong, I am still team Stefan, but as this second season has progressed, I've fallen for Damon. He's the mysterious bad boy that you can't help but want to tame. I have probably undressed him with my eyes about 456,276,299,000 times.

i wanna be friends with this girl and meet her parents. we would perform for them, bake cupcakes, hold hands while skipping around her living room, and feed her pet frog.

i think these are soooooooooooo cute!! i didnt know that bow headbans would be something i 'd be into. seemed to girlie girlie to me for a bit...until i stumbled in Mr. Price last weekend with my twinny, and saw these 2. I tried them on, looked in the mirror and found them so adorable!!! So i bought 2 of them. I will be rocking the black and white stripped headband this saturday and havent seen that many girls in ug wearing them. Def one of my summer must haves!! chicks get a pair!! (some of the celebs below that have rocked em)

Its a warm afternoon here in Kamowakya, and this morning i have been working on new acoustic versions of my songs, Liar and Feel Me with both Eric and Aaron. Its sounding super awesome, and i so cannot wait for you guys to listen to the new versions. They will both be bonus tracks on the new album, and they sound really unplugged and really acoustic, very stripped i guess you can say. So for those Fusion album lovers, look out for these new songs. The new album, A New Me, is gonna be out hopefully by late September early October. Its def more rockish and doesnt have any of the local music i used to. I def got some sounds, more electro, pop, rock, and even that "sing talk" style on a track called,(with a Dev and Ke$ha feel) I got that Swagger. I will upload some of the new songs, for you guys to get a first listen in a few weeks. Stay Tuned and keep rockin ya'll! (country accent)

I wanna be this cool when i am 70. That Forever Swag.

I LOVE THIS GIRL!! Most of the time when im online, i usually stumble upon artists that i never heard of, and wonder why i didn't listen to them much earlier! This chick is awesome!! i love her style, its a bit like Ke$ha, except she has more melodic waves in her sound and also does the "sing talk" much better than her.  Check out her video below, her song Bass Down Low is an ear smasher!!!!

I wish the whole cast of Fresh Prince can like reunite and make some more episodes. It will be quite nice and entertaining to see Will Smith on daytime television again.

Last weekend Saturday, Me, Eric and Aaron and an acoustic performance at this organization called Educate. It was pretty awesome and we did a SUPERB! job. The whole day was very exciting, with auctions, great food, lots of laughter, friends, great music, and doing all of this for a great cause. I love giving back to the community, it just fulfills my whole soul.

So i kept on thinking of a new hair style or color just to rock and........red red red kept on coming to my mind. so i went to the salon today and this is what came out!!!! I love it!! 

The new love of my life! MAC REBEL lipstick. Thanks Twinny for the inspiration, this was a def must have!!
