Hey friends!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
okay okay okay, I know what you are thinking. I should really get on this blog a bit more often? yes true that. I even have the Blogger app on my iphone but I always seem to just pass it!! ARGH!! But im seriously serious and now back on this blog! So HELLOOOOO!!!!!!
Cali is pretty awesome! alot has been happening since I got back. I met up with a few freinds, including the male bestie, SETH! Im so happy that we got to see each other and New Years was pretty awesome at his place. Great people, Great snacks, Adele, the whole enchalada (spelling?) Got to hang out with my neice and nephew, Ryan and Ayla! They are all super cute and such great kids! Saw my brothers and I recently got a chance to work on the Mommy Mogul photoshoot in Hollywood! I reunited with one of my famous moms, Mamma Kingston (Sean Kingstons mom) she is super dope! so is her daugher, Kanema! Beautiful women! and my girls Lamiya and Megan Good! It was such an awesome day. This year I also discovered Pandora ( I know you are thinking where HAVE I BEEN!??) and got to listen and discover so many awesome bands on that online radio. My favs right now are : Carolina Liar, Metric, Two Door Cinema Club, Cat Power, The Bravery, so much. Check them out if you are a fan of indie/rock.
Since I got back, things were a bit slow...(job, studio, etc) But finally things are looking up. I got a new job at Rouhi Dance Studio in Tarzana, California. I had to audition for that job, and trust me I was a bit nervous, you know not being in America for a while and not knowing all the hottest and latest dance moves, so what did I do? I threw some african swag into my routine and WALAAAH! I did really good. Every girl was doing hip hop, so I decided to be a bit more unique. So im super excited for that new job. I will be starting sometime next week! (Now I can work off ALL these junk foods!!! (Damn you Burger King!!!)
Studio time is about to start. I cant wait to start on my new projects and for YOU to get a first listen.
I miss Uganda. YES. My mom, freinds, family, everything. But the journey is pretty awesome, and im really looking forward to the best year of my life.
